Scope of Services
Cedar Cove LLC operates as an Adult Care Assisted Living Facility that provides comprehensive care and support to adults who require assistance with daily living activities while maintaining their independence and dignity. Our programs promote personal well-being, social engagement, and a comfortable living environment. We encourage family/guardian support and involvement to enhance the quality of life for our residents.
We utilize a person-centered care model, which allows us to provide comprehensive service delivery to adults by offering expertise in assisted living and personalized care. We work in collaboration with healthcare providers, family members, and community services. All who are involved in the care and well-being of our residents are an essential part of the care planning process and are invited to participate in discussions and meetings.
Clients receive personal and healthcare services based on the standards of the Bureau of Residential Facilities Licensing. We offer multidisciplinary services tailored to meet each resident’s needs. Specific care plans will be determined by the resident, family, and all individuals involved in the resident’s care team during the assessment and evaluation process. A comprehensive assessment is completed during initial intake. If the resident has had previous medical records, they may be requested to assist in formulating an individualized care plan. The care plan will specify personal care needs, health goals, support services, and the frequency of care. Individual care plans are developed upon admission and are modified as individual needs change. Formal care plans are reviewed regularly to assess progress and make necessary adjustments to enhance the resident's quality of life.
Assistance in Self-Administration of Medication
Where appropriate, residents who are prescribed medications by a medical practitioner receive assistance in following the physician’s orders while self-administering their medications. We provide education to the resident on the medical diagnosis that indicates their need for the medication, the pharmaceutical name, dosage and amount taken, the anticipated results, potential adverse reactions and side effects, and the potential adverse reaction that could result from not taking the medication as prescribed. Residents who may have a problem comprehending this level of instruction are educated by alternative methods such as color, shape, number of pills, time of day, etc. Residents who are unable to safely participate in Self-Administration of Medications are provided with Medication Administration services. Assistance in the Self-Administration of Medication and/or Medication Administration is provided only by a staff member who has the skills and knowledge to provide this service to a resident.

Residents with physical health needs or who require assistance with their activities of daily living (ADLs) will receive services from staff trained as Certified Caregivers.
